Haretopia; an imaginary Eden concieved by Wild Hare and beautifully drawn by Steven Appleby. A fun and unusual project to work on, I was the techie, creating the code and animations to make it work.
The three of us had our meetings via Zoom, Steven sent over some loose sketches and I worked out how the clicking and popups would work. Unusually, the scrolling is horizontal to fit with the long landscape and the image always fits the height of of your screen (unless it is very small indeed). This means that all the numbers and other items on the page have to be scaled to match the exact size of the landscape image too.
On loading it shows just the landscape, then the title and intro drop down so you can click on the 'cloud' to see the numbered places to explore. Clicking on a number makes an individual image detail popup which can be clicked on again to see a larger version of the image and read about it.
The main page and Steven's illustrations are all on a specially built html page that is not editable by the administrator, but the Tower of Song (number 15) loads pages from a specific category on the existing Joomla! Wild Hare Club site.
