Sarah - the woman behind the scenes.
After moving to Hereford and completing a degree in Illustration, Sarah started designing and building websites in 1997 for a local company, KC3 and has worked on all sorts of sites; from small "5 pagers" to massive Government websites, internal office solutions, SMEs and start-ups to international multilingual eCommerce sites. Over the years she has become more and more interested in the crafting of the code as well the look and usability of a website.
Perhaps it is her deeply pragmatic approach to coding and design, her intensive determination to cover all bases and her passion to "get it right", that means Sarah likes to relax by also growing her own fruit and veg and rearing chickens in the Herefordshire countryside.
"It certainly helps me to refocus my efforts by getting away from the computer and tending the animals or the veggie patch" says Sarah, who set up Sarah Eagle Designs several years ago, and has since built a client base that includes a number of household names. With today's technology and transport it's never an issue to work for companies down the road, in London, or even in another country.
Whatever it is, Sarah's approach has brought her great success. She is the css/html go-to-gal for a number of top agencies, "It's great, and I love doing this work, but it means that I can't show off all my work because usually the agency doesn't want to show it's out-sourced."
Direct clients may be fewer, but they are certainly just as enthusiastic about Sarah's work. "She's got such a refreshing attitude". "Nothing is too much trouble" and "she'll always put herself out to ensure that we're 100% happy" are frequently the feedback you'll get.
Years of experience means Sarah is capable and comfortable with even the most demanding client or site requirement.
